MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Westy McCabe posted a 37th-place finish to lead the West Virginia University golf team at the Big 12 Golf Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas.
McCabe finished at 8-over-par for the week with rounds of 72-71-72-73=288. Kaleb Wilson shot Even par over the last three rounds to finish tied for 46th place with rounds of 80-71-68-71=290 (+10). Ryan Leach finished at +15 with rounds of 77-72-73-73=295. Jack Michael was +17 with rounds of 75-73-74-75=297. Nick Turowski recorded rounds of 74-80-75-80=309 (+29).
The Mountaineers finished in 15th place with rounds of 298-287-287-292=1164 (+44), five shots ahead of No. 48 Colorado.
