Day One Complete at Big 12 Golf Championship

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University golf team completed the first day of competition at the Big 12 Golf Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas, on Monday.
Senior Westy McCabe led WVU with rounds of 72-71 and is +3 in 33rd place. Jack Michael shot 75-73 (+8), Ryan Leach posted rounds of 77-72 (+9) and Kaleb Wilson (80-71) and Nick Turowski (74-77) are both +11.
The Mountaineers recorded rounds of 298-287 (+25) and are in 16th place after 36 holes of golf.
The third round will begin at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday, followed by the fourth and final round at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
