
Harrison Named to CSC Academic All-America Third Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University women's basketball senior Jordan Harrison garnered CSC Academic All-America® Third Team honors today as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Fields, a general business major, holds a 3.52 grade point average and has been named to the Big 12 All-Academic First Team this past season and has been recognized on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in five straight semesters.
Harrison averaged 3.2 steals per game and recorded 110 steals this season. Her total steals rank second on the Mountaineers all-time single-season list. Both marks were the best in the Big 12 Conference and rank No. 12 and No. 9 in the nation, respectively.
Her efforts have helped the Mountaineers to the second-best scoring defense (58.4) in the conference. Harrison has spearheaded a defensive unit that averaged 11.1 steals and 21.8 turnovers forced per game.
She is only the fourth Mountaineer women's basketball player to garner Academic All-America distinction. Liz Repella (2010 and 2011), Rosemary Kosiorek (1992 and 1993) and Avery Fields (2015) are WVU's other three honorees.
