Will Davidson joined the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in July 2024 as a content creator in the digital media department. In this role, he is responsible for the creation and the development of WVU’s digital initiatives on social media and the web for women’s soccer and gymnastics.
Davidson comes to WVU following a four-year stint working in the University of South Carolina’s athletic department as a creative media intern.
He was responsible for generating ideas, creating and producing long- and short-form video content for Gamecock football, baseball and volleyball.
His work experience also includes video and editing for South Carolina football, men’s basketball, baseball and volleyball, as well as serving as the unit’s intern leader.
He counts a student freelancer role with Gamecock Productions and a multi-media journalist position for Carolina News and Reporter among his professional work experiences.
Davidson earned a bachelor-of-arts degree in broadcast journalism from South Carolina in 2024.
He resides in Morgantown.
