Connor Smith joined the Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) in April 2022 and currently serves as the assistant director of premium seating & annual giving.
In his role, Smith is responsible for overseeing all premium seating operations during WVU football, basketball, and baseball home games. His duties include collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure an exceptional experience for WVU Athletics' most dedicated supporters. Smith also plays a key role in managing premium seating accounts, areas of annual giving, and gift processing. Additionally, he is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training all premium seating game-day staff.
Before becoming the assistant director of premium seating & annual giving, Smith served as the MAC's premium seating coordinator for 16 months, premium seating assistant for seven months, and development intern for five months.
Smith's professional background also includes experience as a game-day worker and game-day supervisor for the MAC from August 2019 to November 2021, as well as a facilities internship with the West Virginia Black Bears during the 2020 season.
A native of Keyser, West Virginia, Smith earned a bachelor's degree in sport management from WVU in the spring of 2021.
He currently resides in Morgantown with his wife, Breanna, and their dog, Oakley.
