Michael’s 8-Under-Par 64 Leads WVU on Saturday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University freshman golfer Jack Michael shot an 8-under-par 64 to lead the Mountaineers to a 15-under-par round on moving day at the Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Georgia.
The Mountaineers soared to fifth place in the team standings at 11-under-par in the 15-team field.
Michael's bogey-free round included six birdies and an eagle. He is now in eighth place on the player leaderboard at -7 after 36 holes.
Senior Kaleb Wilson shot 5-under-par on Saturday and he sits at -4 in 14th place. Senior Westy McCabe and sophomore Aidan Dortch both shot 1-under today. McCabe is 1-under-par for the tournament in 29th place, while Dortch is +1. Sophomore Nick Turowski was Even par today and is +4 after 36 holes.
