MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men's and women's diving team will compete in the Virginia Tech Invitational on Feb. 6-8, at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center in Christiansburg, Va.
This is the final regular season event for the diving team before the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships at the end of February. Freshman Stavroula Chalemou has pieced together an impressive campaign in her first year for the Mountaineers. She has three victories on platform and won on 1-meter against Villanova and Duquesne on Jan. 24.
In her final season, 2024 NCAA qualifier senior Abigail Sullivan has set the tone for the women's team. She has won 1-meter three times throughout the season, posting a final score of 275.78 against George Washington for a season-high.
Despite multiple injuries, the Mountaineers have found consistency on the men's team with redshirt senior Glenn Eloriaga and sophomore Levi Hellmann. Following a dominant freshman season, Hellmann has put together a tremendous second act during the 2025-26 season with seven individual wins.
