MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Eight Mountaineers from the West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named to the College Sports Communicators 2024-25 Academic All-District Teams.
Juniors
Elysa Grossman and
Abigail Sullivan and seniors
Sarah Krusinski and
Mia Walters were recognized on the women's team.
Sophomore
Owen Recker, junior
Max Nielsen and seniors
Hayden Apel and
Justin Heimes were selected to the men's team.
To be selected, student-athletes must maintain a 3.50 cumulative undergraduate or graduate GPA and compete in a minimum of four competitions or finish top eight at a conference championship meet. Freshmen are not eligible to be selected.
