• Earned two individual bronze medals at the 2022 Big 12 Championships, including the 100 back (47.71) and the 200 back (1:45.79); also competed in the consolation finals of the 50 free (21.18)
• Additionally, at Big 12s, he was a member of two bronze-medal relays, the 400 medley (3:11.88) and the 200 medley (1:26.47)
• Secured a pair of victories against Villanova, including the 100 back (49.42) and as a member of the 200 medley relay (1:31.53); Heimes also earned second in the 200 back (1:52.06)
• Won the 200 back (1:47.97) and finished second in the 100 back (48.68) at the WVU Invitational; also competed in the 50 free, finishing 16th overall with a time of 21.47
• Additionally, Heimes helped the 200 medley relay (1:28.67) and the 400 medley relay (3:19.69) teams notch first-place at the winter invite
• Against Penn State, he took second in the 200 back (1:52.32), the 100 back (50.83) and was a member of the second-place 400 medley relay team (3:19.69)
• Tallied three first-place finishes at the WV State Games, including the 100 back (50.44); helped the 400 medley relay (3:23.55) and the 200 medley relay (1:31.36) teams secure their wins
• Additionally, Heimes competed in the 200 back (5th – 1:55.84), the 50 free (11th – 22.24) and the 100 free (51.52) at the State Games

2020-21 (Freshman)

• All-Big 12 First Team
• Competed in four A finals at Big 12 Championships, including 200 medley relay (3rd - 1:27.55), the 400 medley relay (3rd - 3:13.84), 200 back (4th - 1:46.93), and the 100 back (48.93)
• He also competed in the B finals of the 50 free, touching the wall in 21.96 to finish 16th overall at Big 12s
• Finished fourth in the 100 back (50.03) and fifth in the 200 back (1:49.39) against Notre Dame, as well as a member of the 200 medley relay (7th - 1:33.30) and the 400 medley relay (6th - 3:24.75)
• Heimes took third in the 100 back (49.45) and the 200 back (1:49.65), also placed fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:31.25) in the season-opener at Pitt
