Izzo-Brown Announces Three Additions to Spring Roster

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University women's soccer coach Nikki Izzo-Brown has announced the addition of three student-athletes who will join the Mountaineer roster beginning in the 2026 spring season.
Joining WVU are Rylee Felton (Milford, Michigan), Mia Paugh (Lenexa, Kansas) and Saige Wimes (Kansas City, Missouri).
Rylee Felton / Forward / Milford, Mich.
Felton hails from Milford, Mich., and arrives in Morgantown from Cincinnati, where she spent two seasons playing for the Bearcats. As a sophomore in 2025, she appeared in all 19 matches and earned 17 starts. Felton scored three goals and added two assists for eight points on the year, while also adding one game-winning goal. She also was one of eight Bearcats to play 1,000 or more minutes in 2025. During her freshman campaign, she appeared in 14 matches and started 10, earning a nod as the Big 12 Freshman of the Week during the year. Felton recorded seven goals and one point for 15 points in her rookie season, leading the team in goals and finishing second in points. Prior to arriving at Cincinnati, Felton was a four-year starter at Milford High School and played club soccer for the Michigan Hawks in the ECNL. She was a three-time OPD Michigan State Team member and was the Hawks' leading scorer in 2022. In 2024, she was a member of the Michigan High School Girls Soccer Dream Team. Felton also earned Lake Valley All-District First Team honors and the Milford High Academic Honors Award as a senior. The daughter of Benjamin and Hedy, Felton plans to major in sports administration at WVU.
Mia Paugh / Defender / Lenexa, Kan.
A Lenexa, Kan., native, Paugh arrives at WVU following a two-year stint at Utah. In 2025, she played in 18 total matches, starting 17 of those contests. Paugh ranked fourth on the team with 1,497 minutes on the season, helping the Ute defense notch six shutouts during her time on the pitch. She also scored her first career goal during her sophomore season. As a freshman in 2024, Paugh saw action in 11 matches and started eight. She notched 561 minutes played, including playing all 90 minutes in a pair of matches. Before arriving at Utah, Paugh attended Olathe Northwest High School and played club soccer for Sporting Blue Valley in the ECNL. In 2021, she led her team to the ECNL Final Four and was named one of the players that impressed at the Girls Academy Spring Florida Showcase. Paugh also trained with the KC Current II, playing in matches against the senior Chinese women's national team. She continues to train with the KC Current each summer. The daughter of Greg and Kristine, Paugh plans to major in marketing and business at WVU.
Saige Wimes / Forward / Kansas City, Mo.
Wimes is a Kansas City, Mo., native and arrives in Morgantown from Kansas, where she spent three seasons playing for the Jayhawks. In 2025, she helped Kansas reach the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament, as well as a spot in the title game of the Big 12 Tournament for the second straight year, after the Jayhawks were crowned the Big 12 Tournament Champions in 2024. Wimes started all 25 matches in 2025, scoring five goals and adding four assists for 14 points on the year. In 2024, Wimes started all 23 matches and scored five goals to rank third on the team. She also tied for the team lead with seven assists. Wimes missed the 2023 campaign with an illness, but as a freshman in 2022, she appeared in 19 matches and logged 731 minutes. She scored her first career goals with a brace against Yale on Sept. 11. Before arriving in Lawrence, Wimes attended St. Teresa's Academy and played club soccer for Kansas City Athletics. She scored 10 goals and added 12 assists as a junior, leading St. Teresa's Academy to third place in the class 4A championships after winning the district and sectional championships in 2021. That year, she earned all-district, all-region and all-state second team honors, while she also was named ECNL All-Conference First Team. The daughter of Brian and Michelle, Wimes plans to major in sport management at WVU.
