
West Virginia No. 25 in AP Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team is ranked for the third straight week this season in the AP Top 25 Women's Basketball Poll, released on Monday.
West Virginia fell four spots in the poll and is ranked No. 25 in the fifth edition of the poll.
WVU earned 64 points in the poll. Five Big 12 teams appeared in the rankings, including No. 8 TCU (561), No. 10 Iowa State (502), No. 14 Baylor (355), and No. 24 Oklahoma State (83).
The first NET ranking of the season was also released today and has the Mountaineers slotted at No. 20.
West Virginia is back in action on Monday, Dec. 1, when it takes on Villanova at 7 p.m. ET inside Hope Coliseum. The matchup is first of four straight at home for the Mountaineers.
