Taylor Koper joined West Virginia University Athletics as an assistant director of compliance in June 2026.
Before joining WVU, Koper served in as an intern for the NCAA as a Division II governance and member services postgraduate intern. In this position, she interpreted requests, student-athlete academic waivers and student-athlete reinstatement cases.
Koper worked as a law clerk for the Honorable W. Douglas Thomson in the Missouri Court of Appeals from 2022-25. She conducted legal research, reviewed case files and applied research findings in preparation of judicial opinions.
Koper earned a B.S. in justice systems from Truman State University and a J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
