West Virginia University Athletics

Rodney Swisher joined West Virginia University Athletics as a broadcast engineer in July 2025. 

Prior to joining WVU, Swisher worked as a broadcast engineer at WTVQ and then as a broadcast engineer at West Virginia Public Broadcasting. 

After serving as a broadcast engineer for over five years at WV Public Broadcasting, Swisher became the building site supervisor. In this role, he maintained all HVAC systems and the facility grounds. 

Most recently, Swisher served as an IT specialist for WV Public Broadcasting.
