Hannah Braxton joined the Mountaineer football staff in April 2025 as the director of on-campus recruiting.
She coordinates and executes all on-campus recruiting efforts, including official and unofficial visits, junior days and game-day recruiting visits. She coordinates with all support staff when creating itineraries and is responsible for communicating visit information internally to all football staff and externally to recruits, guests, campus partners and vendors.
Braxton came to WVU after serving as the recruiting coordinator for Chattanooga football for one year. She oversaw all recruiting tasks including travel plans, recruit visits, weekly correspondence with potential student athletes, incoming student-athlete academic/athletic transitions and recruit graphics.
Braxton also spent time as the recruiting and operations assistant for Georgia State football from 2020-24. In that role, she assisted the head coach, director of football operations, director of player relations, high school relation recruiting coordinator and assistant coaches with daily tasks.
The Canton, Georgia, native, earned her bachelor’s degree in health and community wellness from West Georgia in 2019. While there, she volunteered with the football program, assisting with athletic training and recruiting. She completed her master’s degree in sport administration from Georgia State in 2022.
