Mitchell Daigle joined West Virginia University Athletics as its assistant director of marketing in April 2026. His sport responsibilities include women’s basketball and volleyball.
Prior to joining WVU, Daigle spent two years at Virginia Tech where he served as its coordinator of marketing and fan development for the Hokies’ volleyball, tennis and lacrosse teams and secondary manager for women’s basketball, softball, and baseball. During his tenure there, men’s and women’s tennis achieved five-year attendance highs, and he contributed substantially to the Liz Kitley Night, which led to several NACMA Best Of Awards. He was also involved in the implementation of Tech’s “Scan-A-Thon” student engagement initiative which received at 2025 NACMA Best of Gold Award.
Previously, Daigle served as the lead intern in Tech’s marketing and fan development office.
The Dumfries, Virginia, native earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing management from Virginia Tech in 2024, graduating Cum Laude.
He resides in Morgantown.
