
Mountaineers Set for Last Chance Meet

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team returns home to host the WVU Last Chance Meet on Saturday, May 9, in Morgantown.
The meet will serve as Senior Day for the Mountaineers, with WVU honoring its graduating student-athletes in between the first session and twilight session.

West Virginia most recently competed at the East Coast Relays in Jacksonville, Florida. Annishka McDonald led the Mountaineers with a second-place finish in the high jump (1.76m), while Olivia Cress placed sixth (1.68m). Lily Haught also competed in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 1:01.95.
Following the Last Chance Meet, the Mountaineers will travel to Tucson, Arizona, for the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, May 14-16.
