Mountaineers Set for Big 12 Indoor Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team heads to Lubbock, Texas, on Feb. 27-28 to compete in the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Texas Tech University Sports Performance Center.
West Virginia enters the championships following the Penn State Tune Up. Cate Pickering captured first place in the 400 meters, while Annishka McDonald claimed victory in the high jump. Last season, WVU finished fourth at the Big 12 Indoor Championships.
Competition is set to begin at 11 a.m. both Friday and Saturday, with live coverage streaming on ESPN+. Live results will be available at WVUsports.com.
