Aaron Shackelford joined West Virginia University’s video productions unit in July 2022 as its production manager. Aaron will be responsible for the technical and logistical aspects of the television and video board productions at WVU athletics facilities.
The Fairmont, West Virginia, native has extensive live-event experience as a long-time freelance worker for ESPN and numerous regional sports production companies.
His prior work experience also includes a 30-year stint at West Virginia Public Broadcasting where he served as a production associate. He has received two Regional Emmy Awards for his editing work.
The East Fairmont High graduate currently resides in Morgantown.
