
Tennis Host No. 36 Houston, No. 18 UCF to Close Regular Season

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University tennis team (7-11, 1-10 Big 12) closes out the regular season at home this weekend with a pair of Big 12 matchups, hosting No. 36 Houston (16-5, 6-5 Big 12) on Friday, April 10, at 5 p.m., before welcoming No. 18 UCF (16-3, 9-2 Big 12) on Sunday, April 12, at 10 a.m. for Senior Day.
Last time out, the Mountaineers fell 4-2 at Iowa State in their final road match of the regular season. West Virginia earned two singles victories in the contest, as Laura Villanueva Morillo and Julie Bousseau each picked up wins.
The Mountaineers welcome No. 36 Houston on Friday, looking to extend their all-time 3-0 record against the Cougars, including last year's 4-3 win.
West Virginia wraps up the regular season on Sunday against No. 18 UCF in its home finale. Prior to the match, the Mountaineers will honor their seniors for their contributions to the programs as part of Senior Day festivities.
Fans in attendance at Sunday's match will be entered for a chance to win a PS5 and a TV.
