MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision at Iowa State on Sunday afternoon.

Iowa State secured the doubles point with wins on courts one and two, while West Virginia picked up a victory on court three.

West Virginia responded in singles play with two victories. Laura Villanueva Morillo earned a straight-set win on court two, while Julie Bousseau followed with a 6-1, 7-5 victory on court three.

Iowa State claimed the remaining singles matches to secure the team win, while one match went unfinished following the clinch.
