Isaac Miller is in his first year as a member of the Mountaineer Football staff as the assistant to the head football coach.
In his role, he helps coordinate practice scheduling, securing practice times and sites for away games and is involved in game operations, handling the needs of home and visiting teams.
Miller prepares the yearly calendar and makes sure that all schedules are maintained and that deadlines are met. He assists with all team travel, including serving as a liaison to the travel coordinator for air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations and all meals.
Miller helps provide administrative support to the head football coach, including, scheduling and attending fundraising events, personal appearances and community activities. He also assists with all logistical aspects of on-campus recruiting, both official and unofficial, including travel, lodging, meals and campus tours.
He also assists with coaching the tight end position. He is responsible for breaking down film from opponents and assisting with game planning coverages.
Miller came to West Virginia after serving as the administrative graduate assistant for two years at Jacksonville State. He also spent one-year stints at Jacksonville State as a football recruiting operations intern, an equipment intern/interim director of football equipment and a football operations intern.
The Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Jacksonville State in 2022 and his master’s degree in sport management in 2023.
