Angelica Tabares joined Mountaineer athletics in March 2024 as its director of business reporting. In this role, she oversees the department’s daily transactions, working specifically with the Mountaineer Ticket Office and the WVU Foundation.
Previously, she was an accounting specialist at Florida State where she worked directly with its associate director of ticket operations reconciling ticket sales reports and preparing daily forms for the University’s Controller’s Office.
Her prior work experience includes a stint as a case management specialist at Columbus State University’s student affairs department in 2021.
Tabares was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, spent her childhood living in Phenix City, Alabama, and attended high school in Princeton, New Jersey.
She attended Columbus State University where she played soccer and worked in the athletics department as a graduate assistant. She also attended the University of Georgia where she played two seasons of soccer.
Tabares earned her bachelor’s (2018) and master’s degrees (2021) in business administration from Columbus State.
She resides in Morgantown.
