• Swam in the bonus finals of the 200 IM (1:55.98) and the 100 fly (50.28) at the Big 12 Championships; additionally, he appeared in the consolation finals of the 200 fly (1:52.19)
• Against Villanova, Schauer competed in the 200 fly (5th – 1:58.74), the 200 back (2:04.49) and with the 200 medley relay (6th – 1:38.12)
• Appeared in three finals at the WVU Invitational, including the A final of the 200 fly (7th – 1:51.60), the C final of the 100 fly (51.28) and the D final of the 200 IM (1:58.29)
• Against PSU, he finished seventh in the 200 fly with a time of 1:56.86
• Took second in the 200 fly at the WV State Games, with a time of 1:56.07; additionally, he competed in the 100 fly (7th – 52.78), the 200 IM (11th – 2:02.57) and the 200 free (1:49.89)
• Was a member of the 200 medley relay (4th – 1:37.21) and the 400 medley relay (3rd – 3:32.90) at State Games

High School

• Attended Beavercreek High School and swam for coach Chris Melson
• Swam club for the Dayton Raiders under coach Kevin Weldon
• State Champion in the 400 freestyle relay
• Four-time state qualifier
• Four-time varsity athlete and two-time swim team captain

• Son of Marc and Allison Schauer
• Has one sister, Abigail, who swims at Ohio Northern University
