
McDonald Breaks Own School Record at Dalton Ebanks Invitational

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Annishka McDonald delivered another record-breaking performance to lead West Virginia at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational, hosted by George Mason.
McDonald won the high jump with a personal-best clearance of 1.87 meters, breaking her own WVU outdoor school record set just one week ago. The mark also ranks tied for No. 2 in NCAA Division I this season.
Olivia Cress added a fifth-place finish in the high jump with a personal-best 1.73 meters and recorded a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles (14.43) to place 15th.
On the track, Lily Haught posted a personal-best time of 1:02.53 in the 400-meter hurdles to finish fifth. Aislinn Frazer led WVU in the 1,500 meters with a 12th-place finish (4:36.53), followed by Eva Rinker (17th, 4:40.38).
In the sprints, Eva Craigie led the Mountaineers in the 100 meters (12.05) and placed eighth in the long jump (5.64m). Sabria Jones finished 14th in the long jump (5.47m).
Cate Pickering paced WVU in the 200 meters (25.15) and 400 meters (58.21), while Mae Nelson recorded a personal-best 26.13 in the 200 meters.
