
Naukot Named Student-Athlete of Week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore Joy Naukot of the West Virginia University track and field team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
Naukot achieved this after setting a new outdoor school record in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:12.74 at the Bryan Clay Invitational. This performance surpassed the previous record of 15:39.17 by 27 seconds.
The West Virginia University Mountaineers are scheduled to compete next at the Penn Relays, which will take place from April 23 to April 25 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
